Do not be in a rush! Avoid the frenzy and hype! Look for indicators!
Missing out is always better than moving in too soon and getting left in the dust when the wagon starts moving. However, if one has deep pockets and a tight leash on their emotions, they can jump right in.
Bitcoin and Gold are wealth storage traded commodities, one digital and the other physical. People use these two twenty-first century assets to either protect their money and move across state lines. When economies are unstable, we see huge movements in the prices of these assets indicating their current importance and use. The movements can be false alarms leading to price correction within a trading day or week. This is not a problem for that buy to hold long term. If you are trading these assets and misled during these volatile time, the losses can be damaging. Accounts can be lost within seconds if over-leveraged: This is most likely the case when people are hyped up about the potential of uncommon volatile events.
Bitcoin and Gold experienced a significant increase when Israel entered Gaza in November of 2023. This event led to people liquidating most of their assets, at least those they could not carry out of the region, and began relocating. The people that had a lot of assets, including cash, quickly converted them to gold or gold investments and bitcoin to allow for them to escape with just a hand-bag and the clothes on their backs.
Keep in mind that most regions, especially in the middle East, have a number of well off individuals and families. These are people whose children get to study in America and Europe; people with Visas on standby. People that move around regions or states tend to have means that make cash conversion easy and quick. These are the people that always have their fingers on the trigger.
The Middle East has a lot of wealthy families and individuals. Not all of that wealth is legit. The thing with funny money is that it exists in fear; therefore always ready to move around. These are the people that move the market early and a correction follows. When regional instability persists without a resolution in sight, the rest of the region begins the move. When that happens, the entire global market notices the movement and seeks to capitalize. This then starts a huge wave of bullish or bearish trends that go on for months.
Iran has about 99 Million people; more than ten times Gaza. When these people move in numbers the market will react. For now we are only seeing one city mass migrating; and they are not showing signs on permanent relocation. This may come after a week or two, depending on the escalations between Iran and Israel. For now, keep your finger on the trigger. And wait!
